Public reading of War and Peace

Several events to mark the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 are being held on the University of Iowa campus this fall, including a public reading of War and Peace.  University of Iowa Museum of Art director Dr. Sean O’Harrow kicked things off Thursday, by reading the first few pages as Tolstoy wrote them, in French.  The reading is located on the steps of the Old Capitol and in the Old Capitol Court Room and will continue through Sunday or until the book is finished.  Stop by and check it out!
