City of Literature: A Film About the History of Creative Writing in Iowa This film follows the story of creative writing in Iowa, from its frontier beginnings to the recognition of Iowa City as a UNESCO City of Literature.

Faces of the City of Literature The Faces of the City of Literature series follows key figures in the literary community of Iowa City, giving readers a glimpse into the lives of the people who make the great literary culture here even better. This series is written by Alison and Nicholas McCarty.

On the Fly: Writers on Writing Quick interviews with some of the many diverse authors visiting Iowa City, Iowa- North America’s only UNESCO City of Literature. Produced by City of Literature USA and Humanities Iowa, the state affiliate to the National Endowment for the Humanities.

On the Map – a series of interviews with writers while they are in Iowa City, participating in the International Writing Program’s fall residency.
On the Move – a series of interviews with American writers traveling with the IWP on various study and reading projects. Produced in association with the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa
100 Words – As part of the IWP’s “100 Words Project,” writers from around the world have been invited to meditate on a given theme. This year’s theme is “Peace/War.” Each writer has responded to the theme by composing an original text of around 100 words. In these videos, the writers read and present their texts aloud. Poet and critic Stephanos Stephanides (Cyprus) has contributed this video for the project. 100 Words is made possible through a grant from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
