Little Free Library fund applications are available

As more and more Little Free Libraries pop around the Iowa City area, two questions likely spring to mind: how can I help, and how can I receive assistance to install my own library?

The answer to both questions is a click away. The City of Literature organization has partnered with the Altrusa Club of Iowa City and the Community Foundation of Johnson County to create the Little Free Library fund.

Those who wish to contribute financially to the expansion of Little Free Libraries in the area can make a tax-deductible contribution to the fund by visiting this site and using the “Donate” button.

Those seeking reimbursement for a Little Free library project can follow the same link to find an application form. Limited resources are available from this fund for individuals and organizations for expenses related to the construction, installation and final registration of Little Free Libraries within Johnson County.  Completed LFLs must be installed and registered on the llittlefreelibrary.org website before funds can be requested.
